Psychological and Neuropsychological Services for Children, Adolescents, Adults, and Older Adults – Lifespan
Diagnoses and treats a variety of difficulties including:
- Anxiety disorders, trauma and stress related disorders such as PTSD, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, performance anxiety.
- Depressive disorders.
- Neurodevelopmental disorders, such as learning disorders, ADHD, autism, and Tourette syndrome.
- Neurocognitive disorders.
- Somatic symptom and related disorders.
- Work related injuries (WSIB)
Assessments
Dr. Kumchy provides the following assessments:
- Psychological
- Neuropsychological
- Psychoeducational
She provides assessments of cognitive, academic, and emotional functioning through the lifespan. Recommendations are developed to optimize success in school, work, relationships, and leisure activities.
Neuropsychoeducational and Neuropsychological Assessments include a day of individual testing, interview of the person and form completion and interview of the parent or parents. A report with results and recommendations is provided for the student and parents with feedback available to others as requested. We are happy to talk with educators by phone or remotely if there are procedural concerns for the student. Educators can complete checklists remotely also.
The examination requires individual student test completion, interview, and parental form completion and interview. The examination is done remotely and in person with feedback arranged either remotely or in person for the student and parent and other interested parties with consent of the student and parents. The report includes data analysis with recommendations based on the findings. The final feedback with the student and parents is included in the cost.
Cost: $2550
Payments are: $250 due after the initial interview; $1150 due after 1st testing session; $1150 due after 2nd testing session; The hour feedback is included in the cost of the examination and report. For additional assessment of Autism Spectrum Disorder, there are several more hours with the person and available family with additional fees levied based on timing.
